The Laundry Room

When designing a dedicated laundry room, two aspects are essential: the functionality of the space and, consequently, the type of storage solutions it will incorporate.

Ideally, it is important to understand how and how often the space will be used, allowing the design to be tailored to the user's specific needs.

A practical and efficient laundry sorting system is an important feature worth considering when designing a laundry room.

Whenever possible, it is advisable to hang clothes and allow them to air-dry naturally, ideally outdoors. Where outdoor space is unavailable, there are several solutions that can be designed and tailored to the available space, offering a more sustainable alternative to using a tumble dryer.

If the space available for the laundry room is limited, it can be maximised by stacking the tumble dryer on top of the washing machine.

This practical utility area can be discreetly concealed behind sliding doors or decorative panels, allowing it to blend seamlessly into the overall design and even become part of the space’s aesthetic appeal.
