Having studied Interior Architecture and Retail Design in Denmark, where she also gained professional experience, Daniela Gomes developed a design approach defined by sensitivity and meticulous attention to detail.
Throughout her career, she has drawn inspiration from diverse cultural influences — from the warmth and vibrant colours of Luanda to the multiculturalism and eclectic character of Barcelona. Having lived and worked in these cities, she has shaped and refined her unique vision as an interior architect and designer.
The Beginning
She founded Madeira Rosa, a studio whose name pays tribute to her parents — a project built on the belief that every design choice should have meaning, with the aim of transforming spaces into places that welcome, soothe, and inspire a desire to return.
Her vision is to create spaces that embrace, bring balance, and reflect the people who inhabit them — thoughtfully designed environments that offer comfort, character, and a true sense of belonging.
